How do you make a plan seem larger than it is? Make sure that the views are clear in every direction. These four designs do a great job at creating excellent sightlines.

Ideal for a Long, Narrow Lot

Every room inside this slim-lot home boasts lots of space and luxurious amenities. Start with the great room: upon entering from the two-story foyer, you’re greeted with a lovely view out two sets of double doors to the rear veranda. Two islands provide serious space in the kitchen, and a separate wet bar lets guests help themselves. An elevator makes it easy for everyone to go upstairs, where you’ll find three large bedrooms, including the deluxe master suite with its two-sided fireplace. A large deck connects with storage space above the garage.

Takes Indoor/Outdoor to the Next Level

Twin turrets, rustic stone, and warm stucco grace this Tuscan-inspired home. The two-story family room offers terrific views, with one side opening to the lanai and the other to a terrace. The master suite boasts an incredible spa-like bathroom with a circular garden tub. Upstairs, two more bedroom suites are served by a study area, a game room, and even a terrace. While the standard plan is a slab foundation, an optional basement is available to add on with a second game room and yet another terrace.

The elegant exterior of this contemporary home is set off by two stone columns that flank the entry. Inside, a short hallway leads directly into the comfortable great room which, in turn, opens onto a deck. The kitchen and dining room in this plan set apart slightly from great room but traffic can still flow easily from room to room. Off the great room is convenient office as well as the master suite with its walk-in closet and beautiful master bath. On the finished lower level, you’ll find two additional bedrooms, a hall bath, extra storage, and a large game room with a wet bar and glass doors that open to the lower patio. Corner windows enhance the view from many rooms.

Outstanding Flow through the Home

Designed by Visbeen Architects, this well-proportioned two-story design offers relaxed beauty and functionality. Living, kitchen, and porch spaces flow into each other, offering great flexibility on the main floor. The master suite is also located on this level. Three additional bedroom suites can be found on the upper level. A guest suite is situated separately, above the garage. Don’t miss the well-organized laundry room.
